Hello there yahoo! messenger mania..

Do you like to listening to the music while using Yahoo! Messenger and want your status changed with the song you’re playing just like Yahoo! Music LAUNCHcast ? You can use this software, Yahoo! Messenger NowPlaying v4.6.

i found this software from my friend Bobby. This software are able to change your Yahoo! Messenger status with the song you’re playing with winamp. This software is a winamp plugin, so apparently it’ll only able to work with Winamp, i think there’s an application called HyperIM, for other application, but i haven’t tried it yet, and so far, this plug-in was quite good. You can download it by clicking this link below..

Download, and install it..It’s a winamp plugin, so make sure you close Winamp first before you install the plugin.

Where to find Journal?

Sometime we need to find a reference or journal for research, for task, or just if u wanna read it to increase ur knowledge. Many of us doesn’t get used with journal, including me, actually. Sometimes we don’t know where to find journal..

there’s a lot of journal site on the Internet, u can use :

those were an example journal site, but u need to pay for download full-text or pdf file. U only can do search and download d abstract..

Rapidshare Sharing Account Blocker :(

My friends and lecturers are using sharing account together..
Using sharing rapidshare kinda fun, then i asked my lecturer, Willy SR to invite me using sharing account..
He was agree and tell me to pay by transfer the money to his bank account..
Exactly when im going to transfer, this morning i got an email from him telling that Rapidshare not allowing sharing accounts now…T_T…
here’s d information from Rapidshare Support Team :

Hello,

Kindly note, because these days despite the interdiction the amount of shared
accounts was rising, we had to take action. If the last number in your IP
change, this will not cause the problem. The first three numbers must be same.

Example:
123.255.7.234
123.255.7.232
- -> simultaneous downloads possible

123.45.67.89
123.45.60.11
- -> no simultaneous downloads possible

So from now on, it is only allowed to sign up to your account from one place
at the same time.

Please make sure that everytime you signed up to your account from another
computer you delete the cookies afterwards, so you will not be blocked if you
download from your computer again.

With the link „View Logs” in the premium zone you can see how much you
have downloaded on each day and from what IP-address.

If there are IP-addresses listed that you do not know, please change your
password (and maybe your e-mail address) in the premium zone using the link
„settings“ and make sure that your computer and email-address are
secure so nobody could access your RapidShare-account.

Mailing List for Information System Major at Duta Wacana C. Uni

Our major, Information System at Duta Wacana has many students. I think student in our major need a place to share, chat, or doin something else. There’s a uni forum which can be used to chat, but there’s more than just Information System students..So student from other major can enter our major conversation. I think we need a community, our own community that only us Information System students who communicate.

I’ve got an idea about mailing list from my lecturer, again, Willy SR. He told me that he join informatics mailing list. So i make a Information System Mailing List..You can check it out at http://groups.google.com/group/siukdw .

I think with mailing list we can communicate easier, cause with email we can check it everytime we wants. So, if you’re Information System student at DWCU, u better check the link and join

Yahoo!Messenger Chat with Proxy

It’s been almost 5 months im using http://www.meebo.com/ as a chat site so i can connect with Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, GTalk or other chat engines..

I used to online at uni computer, n there’s a lot of sites and port which is blocked by uni admin. I thought YM port was blocked by him, so i find another way by using web based chat interface.

It’s my uni lecturer, Willy SR, who told me to use proxy setting so i can connect to Yahoo! Messenger with Y!M application (desktop, not a web based)…

Here’s the step : (if your connection using a proxy server) :

1. Choose messenger tab, then pick ‘Connection Preferences’

2. Enter your proxy server ip address and port (ask to admin if u do not know)

Finally i’m able tochat with desktop Yahoo! Messenger, Thank’s to him :)
